Do you think they would economically be able to do this or would this be feasible? Surely even if a job is not on the shortage list, there could very well be a shortage of applicants, even in the economic quagmire we are in.

I heard that when your renting a property on a month to month agreement you have to give tenants a 60day term notice and if you have them on a yearly agreement your only required to do the 30 day term notice.
