Can I purchase free shipping supplies at the post office?

AZone asked:

I know you can order free boxes at usps.com, but do they have the free boxes at the actual post office? I ordered the boxes but it takes 10 days to get here and I need to ship things soon. Thanks!
Do they “have” free shipping supplies?

You can not purchase free stuff. and i have no idea what you can get at the post offices in the states.

The post office should have free Priority Mail boxes, but you have to use them with Priority Mail which is a bit more expensive than other options.

I believe that the free shipping supplies you are talking about are the ones you can only use for priority mail (they have “priority mail” written all over it), it is more expensive to use priority mail but you don’t pay extra for the shipping supplies. They do have those at the office for free. They also sell boxes if you don’t want to use priority mail.
