Summer asked: Our office has gotten too big to do an office pool. There are too many upcoming weddings to expect employees to contribute money for each wedding gift. The company would still like to give something. If the company is paying, what is an appropriate gesture? We usually send flowers to the employee’s home when a baby is born, but flowers aren’t really appropriate for a wedding.

5)no abusing company time (taking a leisurely 2 hour lunch every day is abusing company time) If its not about buisness its wrong.
6)don’t expose your personal problems around. No one cares.
7)dont show up with a hang over.
enjoy the breakroom but don’t leave a mess!! puleeease~
9) Make a point to make sure to CYA…that is going to require a lot of communication.
10) Dont’ F#$%#in step on my toes, and pretend to be my friend. Either you are or your not. Its not a day to day desision.

Sir Barrence asked: My tape dispenser is always criticizing my stapler by telling him that he “looks tacky”. They are always verbally and physically fighting. My ruler usually stays quiet through it all, but I can just tell he is bottling up all of his feelings and just might snap one day.
