Good ideas for a costume made ONLY with office supplies?

office supply
Robeerto asked:

At work we’re having a contest to make a costume solely out of office supplies, i.e. paper clips, paper, manila folders, pens, tape, etc. Anything in or around our cubes is fair game.

I’m looking for creative ideas! I know one person is dressing up as Jacob Marley with a paper clip chain. Some of my random thoughts were:

- knight - have a helmet made from paper (cut slits to see out of) and make a manila folder sword
- wizard - use paper/folders to create a wizard’s hat

OK, I have a few others but I don’t want to get carried away. That’s where YOU come in. Please help!

I am laughing out loud at the possibilities! This is awesome!
you can “curl” paper with scissors like you do with ribbon - thus making curly hair, or a lay skirt for a Hawaiian hula dancer… hahaha!

Use the post-it note pad. Use tape or whatever and stick them all over you and go as a post-it note pad.

Have you seen the commercials with the office people fighting all decked out in office supplies… I can’t remember what the product was but it would give you some ideas for a knight. Maybe FedEx or UPS or something…

It’s kinda corny but a couple came to one of our parties as mail and fee-mail. He was dressed up with an e-mail theme, she was dressed up with a postal letter theme.

This is a little corny, but what if you wore a grey sweatshirt and sweatpants and hot glue staples, paper clips, anything that is metal to it, and say you are a Magnet.

if you have duct tape around your cubical you could add to the knight, the silver will come across as metal.
-cover the helmet in tape and maybe add a Mohawk thing made up of lots and lots of postits (see helmet link below for shape ideas, you can’t miss the Mohawk things).
    -cover the sword in tape.
-make an armor vest (see vest link below) out of manila folders covered in duct tape. Place coat of arms on center of the vest.
    - Make a shield out of manila folders and cover in duct tape as well, put a coat of arms on the shield as well.(see shield link below for example)

—coat of arms could be what you are the protector of or your companies logo from office stationary.

now you just need to come up with a name for the knight…
