How do i get into an office job with further career oppertunities?
I have been working in the building industry and would like to change career paths. I have never worked in an office (other than (school) work expirience.) I have basic computer skills but would need complete training in other office skills. I am eager to learn and am not sure where to find the opportunity or where to start.

if you have good communication skills and some computer skills you can probably start as an office receptionist or similar jobs and work your way up. from_chicago_with_love

You could definitely get reception work, use the time working on reception to train up on your admin skills and then you can move into office admin. I am a receptionist and was doing this til I realised I hate offices so I am learning alternative therapies instead to get away from office work sparkleythings_4you
