How much does a standard large envelope weigh?

You know the 10in x 13in clasp close envelopes you can buy at any office supply store. I need to know for mailing but my scale doesn’t go that low.

    Shouldnt matter. USPS has flat rate options now.

    i would say about 10-15 grams for a regular white envelope

    The people at our post office here in Mesquite, Texas told me12-21-07: “It says that it weighs.58, not quite an ounce, and the postage is .80 cents.” (I told the lady it had nothing in it). I would pay attention to the .58 part of her statement, if I were you, and disregard the second half.
