How to activate microsoft office with no disc and just a product key?

The Me asked:

Just bought a new computer with no Microsoft Office on it because I thought I had the Microsoft office software, all I was able to find was the product key. Can I still make this work with no software and just the product key?

The product key is simply for the Office Demo. I believe the Demo lasts for approximately thirty days. Your computer should have come with the demo disc; and if not, there should be an Office icon on your computer.

Otherwise, to get the complete version, you’ll have to purchase the software. Sabrina

You cannot use a software without installing it on your computer unless its a webapp.

Download Microsoft Office from microsoft’s site, install it on your pc, activate it with your product key, and only then will you be able to use it. Ch!r@g
