For the first one it tells you what Gray's sells are but wants Athena's commission for the week. Since you know Gray's sells but not Athena's you can't answer.

For problem 2 multiply the sales by .07 which will give you the amount of commission. You get 28871.78. Multiply this number by .05 This will tell you the end of the year commission. 1443.59. Now add the years salary of 412,454+ 28871.78+ 1443.59 to get the pay for the year.

Do Carr's yearly salary the same way as above.

Gross pay is the amount that you receive before taxes. It is calculated by multiplying the rate of pay by the hours worked. I don't know about commission or minimum craftyladynow

1) 2000(.04) + 1925(.085) is athena's commission b/c her sales after $2000 were $1925 to achieve the total sales.

2) Melbell's sales totaled $412,454, so multiply by 0.07 for $28,871.78. Now multiply that commission by 5 percent (0.05) for $1,443.59. Now just add these two products together. SleepingDog

1) She sold $2,000 plus another $1,925. She got 4% on the first amount, then 8% on the second amount. So her total amount of commission earned is
2000(0.04) + 1925(0.08)

2a) She gets at least 0.07 times 412,454. That's her commission. As a bonus, she gets 0.05 times this result. Geezah
