How to work in the office without paying attention to the past?

office
ashishgupta1213 asked:

I proposed a girl before who was working in my team at my office. She said no and she told me that she just want to be my friend. She is still in my team and she is a good friend of mine. Even if we are good friends now, I can’t behave openly with her. May be because I still remember what happened in the past. How to get rid of the past and be open and free while working in my office? Any suggestions? Thank You.

Do you still upset for her turning you down?

If not, you should not hold the grudge of past, instead move on & cherish every moment you have with her.

See, she’s so mature & open-minded. Although she has rejected you, she didn’t shut herself out from you. Instead you two become good friends.

Who knows that perhaps the moment she rejected you because the thing was too soon..??

Now, if you two has been acquaintance to each other and become good friends, she may feel at ease & so comfortable with you. Who knows (too) one day if you have gathered all the courages up to propose her again, she might accept it?…

Don’t cloud the past & present. Enjoy your friendship with her. Try to talk to her openly (try first)….if first time is running ok, means the next time won’t be any issue.

By the way, if I may ask: how sort of openess you want to have with her? Is there any particular topic you want to discuss with her which you never did to other people?…

Anyway, you do good for now. So, dont’ ruin it! She’s already a good friend of yours. Cherish it! constantine
