I need a USB cable to connect an Epson NX 105 printer to my laptop. Can I buy it at any office supply store?
It appears that I need a type “B” cable. I need it fast for my son’s school project.

I bought mine at Wal Mart for about $10.00. Just look for a USB printer cable

Yeah…
Or at the 99 cent only store.
Basically, if the plug fits.. it’s good.
A and B have to do with where the little plastic tongue is on the inside of the computer end of things… Hard to find an strictly A type around anymore. The cable you want will have a small rectangle on one side and a square with the top corners beveled on the other.
*** EDIT ***
DO NOT spend more than maybe $10 -12 US on the cable. You don;t need or want a $35 gold tipped schmancy extra insulted hyper quantum star trek usb cable. They have been shown time and again to be electrically identical to the one you get for $6.

You can use any a to b cable, you dont have to spend a fortune. If you can find it at the 99 cent store it will work. You can get it online for $4 including shipping at many places including
And here’s another tip: your printer uses the same cartridges as my C120 and CX8400. I get them for under $3 at and they hold 66% more ink than Epson. Tell them DavidJ referred you and you’ll get a free cartridge added to your order.
