Do I have stand up fan blowing into my office? Should I elevate a fan so it blows the air on the ceiling out of my room?

if you have forced air turn the fan switch to on so the blower circulates constantly this will even out the temperature of all the rooms. if you are just going to use the upright fan to try to cool the room set it near the door and blow warm air out the door lordshaiths

In the summer, set the fan to push the air down
in the winter, set the fan to push any air up.
