Ya..Bru asked: what do you do if you are in your office, have nothing to do for the whole day (you know it before hand coz you already finish your assignment) your boss is not in the office but you cannot go home until it is 5.30pm? (btw your office computer cannot go to internet, you dont have phone in your desk)

We’re having wood floors put in and the reception area is going to be getting a new desk. We’re having difficulties choosing which colors to paint the walls of the reception area, parts office, conference room and other offices. We’ve heard yellow and oranges are very welcoming but I can’t seem to get excited about those colors. Any suggestions or advice is welcome
We’ve found the relaxing colors to be a little too relaxing for working. I guess we’re wanting vibrant welcoming colors…I would love to have blues and greens but the bosses aren’t going for it.

STFU Dude asked: I’ve been to office supply stores, consumer furniture stores, everywhere. I cannot find a non-sucky desk. Here is my criteria:
(1) All wood construction.
(2) No mandatory keyboard tray, no “monitor stand”. Just a surface.
(3) No lip around the front to bump my legs.
(4) Kind of high up.
(5) No “knick knacks” - no CD holders are random surfaces where your legs are supposed to. Just 4 legs and a surface.
Where should I be looking?
