paul h asked: A couple of years back there used to be an office supply story next to the K-Mart on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst NY and I am trying to find out which store it was. I believe it was like an officemax or office depot and I also believe the company went out of Business. Would anyone have a clue as to what store that was???

Adam M. asked: So I recently learned that there is always a bargain for everything.
And Ralphs isn’t one of them when buying food. Just like how Stapples and Office Depot are NOT bargain stores when buying boxes/bubble mailers.
There is always a specialty store that sells them at half the price, for example, Food4Less is owned by ralphs and you can get the same stuff for half the price. Just like how Box City is a lot better than Staples for mailing supplies.
So aside from Thrift Stores and yard sales, are there any cheap places to purchase office/school supplies?
I was thinking dollar tree or wal mart?

ucbearcats4life asked:
Office Depot currently sells copy paper with brightness levels over 100. Most every other office supply company shows US brightness levels and Euro brightness levels. Such as 98 US/110+ Eurobright. Is Office Depot’s paper being advertised in Euro Bright levels only? Is it possible to have US brightness at more than 100?

I already looked at Target and the two local office supply stores (Office Depot/Max) and no luck. Anywhere else to check?
Sorry I should have added that I need this for tomorrow so no internet shopping.

Lauren A asked:
My family is in a tight situation and I am trying to decide which would be the better place to go on a *very* small budget for school supplies. It would be very basic, just binders, paper, pencils, dividers and what not. I am trying to avoid walmart because in my town they run out of things by the time you buy for a high schooler cause all the little kids already bought everything. I know that staples has a good selection this time of year, but im just worried about spending too much
