John Doe asked: I own a large historic home that I rent out as office space to regular, long-term tenants in the second floor rooms, and I also rent the large first floor rooms as meeting/banquet space to groups for special events. I want to raise the rents I’m charging my office tenants, but I’m afraid that I may loose one or more of them if I do. Can anyone offer suggestions on how to negotiate fair rent increases for commercial tenants? The house is located in a small city in West Virginia.

blondee asked: It seems most affairs happen within an office/cubicle type atmosphere—-why is this? Has anyone else noticed this? Yes, I am aware that affairs happen EVERYWHERE no matter what the job, but it seems more prevalent in an office space. Is it because there is a good mix of men and women? Is it because offices usually dress up making everyone more attractive?? Who has a better theory on this? Please share

Thanks.

M B asked: I am having a hard time locating office space in the airpark area. Either the agents won’t return the calls, smaller space is unavailable, or it is an executive suite, which we are not interested in. I know there are a lot of offices, but I am not sure how to find the right one. I am looking for an office between 500 - 750 sq ft. Any suggestions?
