What does Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 licensed for 3 users actually mean?

Office Home and Student 2007 is already installed on three computers. One of them is about to be scrapped and replaced with a brand new computer. Will the license allow installation on the brand new machine? If not, what are the options?

    It means it can be installed on only three machines. So no, you can’t legally install it on a new machine. Only two options, try to install it illegally. But microsoft has ways to know this and can shut the illegal copy down. Or you can buy a new copy & do a clean install. Carl_the_Truth

    Uninstall Office from the computer that you are getting replacing. This will recover the license and you should have no trouble installing it on your new computer. If you need support head here:
