What office supplies do you crave that your company doesn’t buy for you?
Most companies have a list of “approved items” that they will order from the office supply store and deliver to you. Some companies are very generous, some have 10 basic items. What’s on your “wish list” that you’d love to use, your company won’t buy for you, and you have maybe occasionally bought yourself? Be specific. Also, say what kind of company you work for (i.e. law office, hospital, etc.) and rate your company’s office supply policy as
“Generous” - a whole office store catalog–you can order anything
“Average” - 25-250 or so items from an office store catalog, you can order any of those
“Limited” - a list of 25 or fewer items

I used to work for a company with offices in several Midwestern cities including Chicago, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Columbus etc.
A partner in Chicago refused to allow post-it notes. I honestly do not know why. As you might imagine, they became highly sought-after contraband. “Dude, you’re goin’ to Indy next week?! Can you score me some post-it notes?”

We have a limit of ink jets for our small printer and when we use up our allotment, then we have to dig in our pockets.
