Where can I get donated office furniture for a non-profit?

office supply
gordondym asked:

I work for a non-profit in St. Louis, MO, and we’re setting up a small satellite office (just two people). We need desks bookshelves, cabinets, etc. Anyone know of contact people to get donations of office furniture. In addition, if you know places that donate supplies, more than willing to take those as well. thanks!

Go to a local furniture store and ask if they would like to donate. Ask other supporters if they would donate money for office furniture.

Also, in your newsletter, put it on the wish list. Make a request for furniture in a letter to the editor talking about what a fine non-profit you are involved with. ;)
