Who loves office supplies?

I don’t know why, but I love office supplies. Post its, pens, pencils, paper, folders, notebooks… I love getting all new stuff like that. Does anybody else out there feel the same way??

(This is meant to be kind of funny, I’m not some super nerd.)
Okay well maybe I am part super nerd, I did play AD&D. ;) I just didn’t want a bunch of jerks replying with sarcastic comments. I don’t know why I bother worrying about that.

I work in an office so I am constantly surrounded by supplies. I love the supply closet. :D I’ll definitely have to check into getting a fountain pen the next time I go to Walmart. I write letters to my boyfriend all the time so that could be a nice touch.

    me too. I love the post it the most. I’m kinda picky with pens and I hate it when people get my stuff without my permission even if they use it for a minute and put it back. I’m the only one in my office who was everything. they all come sooner or later to ask me for something. I say yes once but not twice :)

    I’m with you Danielle. I love them too. But I confess that spending most of my life as an artist has some bearing on the fact. I’m a pen freak. I could (if I allowed myself) own thousands of pens. I love them. I love having the perfect office set up. And of course it all has to coordinate for an overall sense of beauty as well…. the artist in me prevails.

    YEAH! i’m in college and if i don’t buy new pens and notebooks for every class it’s almost like i have no motivation to be there. it’s strange…and it has to be a really nice pen/pencil too, a heavy one that writes really well. in fact, i think that is my only motivation for going to class, writing with my new pen.

    but however, in my case, i’m kind of a super nerd.
    dungeons and dragons rules!

    I totally know what you mean, and I’m not a super nerd either. I used to work in an office and my favorite part of my job was looking through the Staples catalog and getting to order pens, pencils, markers, highlighters, post-its… ect. When they came in it was all I could do not to try them out. I wonder why we like this stuff so much? My favorite thing is my fountain pen. You should get one! You can get them at WalMart, kinds with replaceable ink cartrages. They make your handwritting look great!

    I gotta say my favorite pen is BIC fine point. Just the plain old kind, white with the black or blue cap. But I’ve done art my whole life too… they just have the best ink, not blotchy and doesn’t skip.

    I love office supplies. I have worked in a few secretarial jobs. One job I had to stock, organize and just completely set-up a brand new construction office. I had so much fun. I was given an Office Depot Catalog and had to go through everything and write down and order, post it notes, pens, pencils, folders, files, eraser boards, sharpies, papers, labels, software, computer hardware, paper shredders, even a nice office chair for the Job site manager! I had so much fun and had unlimited funds to do this with. My favorite, I think is packing tape, pens and different card stock papers.
