A pen worthy of the Craft name is now complete.

Not just superficial beauty and glamor,
A product designed from each constituent part.
You can freely combine the body, core, clip, and refill.
SAKURA craft_lab’s first custom pen.
What kind of pen is worthy of the name craft?
I thought about it again and came up with this one.
The depth of taste changes depending on the parts you choose.
When replacing parts or refills, use antique tools.
I think you can enjoy the feeling of taking care of yourself.
The more you touch it, the more it becomes a part of you.
This pen is a piece of work completed by combining sensibilities.

The things that are most familiar to us can be called art.

If words born from hands are handmade products,
The pen that produces it must also be hand-crafted.
006 was born from such a background,
Each part is tastefully and carefully made.
Of course, it goes without saying that it’s not just the beauty of the details, but also the perfection when put together.
A design that exudes dignity and a weight that feels comfortable in the hand.
The body has a bold slit,
It has a playful feel that allows you to feel “inside” even when wearing a cap.
The layers created by overlapping parts are
It exudes an unprecedented charm.
This is the birth of a pen that can be said to be the true value of SAKURA craft_lab.

About SAKURA craft_lab
Since its founding in 1921, Sakura Crepas has upheld its corporate motto of “contributing to education and culture,” and has sought to enrich lives through color, creating innovative technologies and products never before seen in the world, such as Crepas and Coupy. It’s exciting to write, thrilling to hold, and reminds me of the innocence I had as a child, making me want to keep running the pen forever. “SAKURA craft_lab” was born with the idea of creating writing instruments for adults. SAKURA craft_lab is a writing instrument development lab that brings the joy of “writing” to adults, and delivers writing instruments that stimulate the sensibilities of adults.

About Core
[Metal]: The weight of the pen, the grip, the durability, and the feel of the material that you can love. We selected three types of materials from a variety of metal materials, taking into consideration the shape of the pen and how it will change over time. You can choose from “brass” which has a heavy feel, “nickel silver” which has a unique texture, and “aluminum” which has a comfortable lightness.

[Pipe Wood]: The pipe wood used as one of the cores is made from the root nodules of Erica arborea, which grows in lands unsuitable for plants along the Mediterranean coast. The knobs, which take more than 50 years to grow, cannot be cultivated artificially, so they are an extremely valuable material, and are also used as material for pipes due to their strong and smooth texture. The high-quality handle is created using the skills of craftsmen.

About 6 colors of black ink
The ultimate black “jet black” has been added to the special black ink. At SAKURA craft_lab, we are particular about black ink, and have provided five colors of black ink. This time, we have developed a “jet black” color created from a specially formulated pigment. The density is higher than normal black, achieving a deeper and darker black than ever before. Experience the ultimate black color while maintaining the smooth writing feel of gel ink.
