Kara-nuri Ballpoint Pen – Akane

The Kara-nuri Ballpoint Pen – Akane is crafted from natural wood and finished using Kara-nuri, the signature style of Tsugaru-nuri, a centuries-old lacquerware tradition from Aomori. Built through dozens of textured lacquer layers, tin dusting, and patient hand polishing, the surface reveals lasting depth and a uniquely tactile feel. With its warm grip and well-balanced weight, this pen is made to accompany years of writing and aging beautifully over time.
